Life Transitions Therapy

When Life Changes, It’s Okay to Need Support

Even positive changes can bring unexpected stress. Whether you’re starting something new or letting go of something familiar, major life transitions can leave you feeling ungrounded, uncertain, or emotionally overwhelmed. If you’re struggling to adjust to a new season in your life, you don’t have to figure it out on your own.

Therapy for Life Transitions Can Help You Regain Your Balance

At Clinic for Healing and Change, we help you make sense of the internal and external shifts happening in your life. Whether you’re navigating a change in career, identity, relationship, family, health, or lifestyle, we offer a space to pause, reflect, and grow through the transition. We believe every shift—no matter how difficult—holds potential for insight, healing, and transformation.

Our Approach to Navigating Life Transitions

Change is complex, and so are the emotions that come with it. Our therapists create a supportive space where you can explore uncertainty, process mixed feelings, and reconnect with your values and direction. We tailor therapy based on your unique needs, using a blend of evidence-based and strengths-based approaches.

Narrative and Identity-Focused Therapy

Major transitions can shake your sense of identity. We help you explore your evolving story—who you are, who you’ve been, and who you’re becoming—so you can move forward with greater clarity and purpose.

Mindfulness and Self-Compassion Practices

Change often brings anxiety and self-doubt. We guide you in practices that help you stay present, reduce emotional reactivity, and meet yourself with gentleness in uncertain times.

Cognitive and Strengths-Based Approaches

We help you identify your strengths, shift limiting beliefs, and develop practical strategies to manage stress and make empowered choices during change.

Grief and Adjustment Support

Letting go of one chapter often brings grief—even if you chose the change. We hold space for both loss and hope, helping you honor what was while embracing what’s next.
