Anxiety Treatment

You Deserve Relief and Real Support

At Clinic for Healing and Change, we understand how exhausting and isolating anxiety can be. Whether it’s persistent worry, panic attacks, or social anxiety, our team is here to support you with compassion, insight, and evidence-based tools that work. You don’t have to “just cope.” You can heal.

Anxiety Doesn’t Have to Control Your Life

Do you feel constantly on edge, overwhelmed, or stuck in your head? Anxiety can make even simple tasks feel exhausting. It affects your ability to focus, connect with others, and enjoy life. But you don’t have to navigate this alone.

Here's Our Approach to Treating Anxiety

We tailor therapy to your unique experience—because no two people experience anxiety the same way. Our therapists use approaches such as:

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT helps you identify unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to anxiety and replace them with more balanced, realistic ones. Together, we explore the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, building practical strategies to manage anxiety in everyday life.

Mindfulness-Based Practices

Mindfulness techniques help bring awareness to the present moment without judgment. By learning to observe your thoughts and sensations with greater clarity, you can begin to calm your nervous system, reduce reactivity, and create space between you and your anxious responses.

Somatic and Trauma-Informed Therapy

Anxiety often lives not just in the mind but in the body. We use somatic approaches to help you notice and release stored tension, tune into your body’s signals, and feel more grounded. Our trauma-informed lens ensures your therapy experience feels safe, respectful, and attuned to past experiences.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)

When anxiety is linked to past trauma or distressing events, EMDR can help you process those memories in a way that reduces their emotional charge. This approach allows the brain to reprocess experiences that may be contributing to anxiety, helping you move forward with greater ease and clarity.

Ketamine-Assisted Therapy (when indicated)

For clients with treatment-resistant anxiety, we may recommend Ketamine-Assisted Therapy as an option. In a supportive therapeutic setting, ketamine can help access deeper emotional material and shift patterns of thought and feeling that have been hard to change through talk therapy alone. Integration sessions ensure insights from the experience lead to lasting change.
