Grief and Loss Therapy

Grief Comes in Many Forms—and You Don’t Have to Face It Alone

Whether you’ve lost a loved one, experienced the end of a relationship, or are grieving a major life change, loss can shake everything you thought you knew. Some days may feel heavy and raw, while others may feel empty or numb. You might feel isolated, confused, or unsure of how to move forward. There’s no “right way” to grieve—but there is support.

Find Comfort and Meaning Through the Grieving Process

At Clinic for Healing and Change, we offer compassionate, nonjudgmental therapy to help you navigate grief in a way that honors your emotions, your story, and your pace. Whether your loss is recent or long ago, sudden or expected, we help you process the pain, make sense of your experience, and begin to rebuild life around what’s been lost—with space for both sorrow and healing.

Our Approach to Grief and Loss Therapy

Grief isn’t linear, and there’s no timeline for healing. Our therapists walk beside you with care, patience, and presence, offering a supportive space to explore the many layers of loss. We tailor therapy to your needs using gentle, trauma-informed, and insight-oriented approaches, including:

Narrative and Meaning-Making Therapy

We help you tell your story of loss in your own words, honoring what’s been lost while exploring what meaning or growth may emerge from the grieving process.

Complicated and Prolonged Grief Support

If your grief feels stuck, overwhelming, or unresolved, we offer tools to gently address what may be interfering with healing—like guilt, trauma, or isolation.

Somatic and Mindfulness-Based Practices

Grief can be held in the body. Through breathwork, body awareness, and grounding techniques, we help you reconnect with yourself and regulate difficult emotions.

Self-Compassion and Resilience Building

Grief can stir up harsh self-talk and emotional fatigue. We support you in softening those inner voices and rebuilding emotional strength from a place of care and self-kindness.

Common Experiences of Grief and Loss

Grief affects each person differently—and there’s no “normal” way to feel. Some days might bring intense emotion, while others feel strangely numb or disconnected. These responses are a natural part of how we process loss, even when they don’t always make sense. Here are some of the most common ways grief may show up:

If any of these resonate with you, you’re not broken—you’re grieving. And you don’t have to do it alone.

When You're Ready, We're Here

Grief takes time—and support makes a difference. Whether your loss is fresh or something you’ve carried for years, you deserve a space to process, reflect, and begin healing.

At Clinic for Healing and Change, we’ll walk with you at your own pace, offering gentle guidance and care through the grieving process.
